CAN YOU HELP MY BABY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT?

I can help you work on getting your little one to sleep through night; and have had much success in doing this. However, every child is unique and there is no time limit on how long this can take for some little ones. But, I will help you to install healthy sleeping habits and routines to help maximise your little ones sleep to help them sleep more efficiently.

WILL MY BABY CRY?

Simply put, yes. It is usually very common for babies to cry when they endure any change; crying is often the only way that babies have to communicate many of their emotions. However, there are different sleep training techniques to choose from, and we can select one that is most suited to your preferences.

My belief is to approach sleep coaching with a holistic view, taking into account all aspects of the child. I believe in not only thinking about their sleep but also their development, nutrition, sleep environment, family dynamic and much, much more.  From this, I build a sleep plan that I believe is most appropriate for you and your family. I will also give you the opportunity to tweak any aspects that you feel necessary, giving you complete control of the process for you and your little one.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE SUCCESS?

Success with sleep training comes in bits at a time. As one issue starts to get solved, it will affect other issues which will in turn get solved. It is typical that most clients tend to see an improvement over the course of 2-4 weeks, with good habits established and embedded within the child’s routine. But of course, every child is different, so it is extremely difficult to put a time-frame on success.

In addition, what may be deemed successful by one family, may not be by another family – so it is important that we set goals based on your unique wishes and work towards achieving this.

CAN YOU GUARANTEE SUCCESS?

The success of a plan is largely based on the consistency of families to implement the suggested strategies. Even with a perfect plan, without a commitment to seeing it through, it is unlikely to achieve the desired outcome. Families, who are consistently able to follow the plan and make appropriate adjustments (based on my guidance through support calls / messages), will see improvements in their little one’s sleeping habits.

WHAT IF THE PLAN DOESN’T WORK OR THERE IS A REGRESSION?

Both of these things can happen, especially during particular developmental milestone or if there is a lack of consistency in the plan implementation carried out by the family. The key to making a plan work or recovering from a regression is to go back to consistently following the plan. Additionally, during the sleep packages, I also offer support through calls and messaging so I will be able to check up on your little one’s progress and make any necessary tweaks / offer advice to help you achieve your goal. I am there to help! Click to read about the Sleep Packages I offer.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A SLEEP CONSULTANT?

I know first-hand how difficult and how overwhelming those long night-wakes can be. For four months, I scoured the internet for answers to my little one’s sleeping problems, with no lasting changes. When I was out of options, I hired a sleep consultant and she helped our family to solve what was becoming an increasing problem. My life was changed and I felt like a new human!

When I saw the way our sleep consultant had impacted our lives for the better, I knew I wanted to do that for other families too. I became a certified sleep consultant so that I could help other families function and thrive. Click to read the whole story.
